Carl Cochlin

Walking home from school, my first day of the first grade, I was attacked. I ran so fast and so far I became lost.

That evening after the police found me & my dad came up to my room he said to me :

” If you ever start running from a bully, you will be running your whole life.”

This event happened in the little town of Wapakonetta, Ohio.

The sky was never considered the limit for us.

My daddy may never have walked on the moon, but in my eyes, he hung the moon and the stars for me.

    • Thank You. I was called the “velvet hammer” because of an inner strength dad gave me. He was a very deep thinker, and always wanted the best for us. His role model as a father had to be honored.
